Get your heart beat up and your mind right. Our warm-ups vary every day just like the Gauntlet, using a variety of cardio, functional, and strength exercises that will prepare you to Run the Gauntlet.
The Gauntlet is our patented workout consisting of 16 stations that change daily in order to achieve complete muscle confusion. Some stations are kickboxing specific while others incorporate body weight strength training and speed-based cardio. The best part is you have a trainer available while you Run the Gauntlet to ensure proper technique and to push you beyond what you thought your body could ever accomplish.
After you Run the Gauntlet, our trainers will put you through various stretches that help cool your body down and guide your heart rate back to normal.
Just can’t thank you enough for starting Gauntlet Fitness! I’m in the best shape of my life and continue to transform my body with each workout. The mental health benefits are invaluable too. It’s the best therapy I’ve found! I’ve tried everything from aerobics to zumba to turbo kick and I’ve never gotten the results or satisfaction from a workout like I do from this program. The Gauntlet is not only a great workout but also a fantastic stress reliever after a long day at work. I’m getting the best workout ever and at the same time, I’m learning self defense moves that make me feel safer and more confident about shopping or traveling alone. So addictive and LOVE IT!!!

I want to share my experience so far at Gauntlet Fitness which is now open for business in Homewood. I recently joined, and I’ve grown to love everything about it: the concept, the guys behind it, and (surprise) the actual work-outs! I am so impressed by this group of guys: their skill levels, teaching ability, equipment, their patience, and their care to prevent injury. They each have interesting and successful backgrounds which coalesce perfectly for this fitness concept. I also admire these guys as businessmen, and I’m a fan of their vision for Gauntlet.

As a high school track and cross country athlete, I won six state championships. I attended Troy University on a Track and Cross Country Scholarship. During my time at Troy, I was running an average of 80 miles a week and weight training with a strength and conditioning coach 3 days a week. Needless to say, I was in great shape. So, hear me when I say this… because of Gauntlet Fitness Kickboxing… I am in better shape now than in college! I’m not telling you this to brag - I’m telling you this so you can get in on the goodness, should you choose.
